Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026. These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the BraidBooker platform (https://braidbooker.com) by clients and partner afro hair braiders in France, Italy, Germany and Belgium.
1. Purpose of the Service & Scope of the 4 Markets
• Qualified matchmaking: BraidBooker acts as a technical intermediary allowing clients to book afro hairstyling services online (Knotless Braids, Box Braids, cornrows, Locks, protective care) with private salons and verified afro hair braiders.
• Markets covered: The service is available in France, in Italy, in Germany and in Belgium (braidbooker.com).
2. Pricing in Euros (€) & Protected Payment
• Single currency: All prices shown on BraidBooker are expressed exclusively in Euros (€ EUR).
• Full payment: To confirm and block a slot in the calendar of a partner afro hair braider, the service is paid in full online via Stripe, with the BraidBooker protection fee (10% of the price, minimum €4, maximum €20 up to €400; above that, €20 plus 5% of the part exceeding €400). No final charge is validated without confirmation of the slot.
• Payout: The price of the service is paid to the afro hair braider 48 hours after the end of the appointment, unless a problem is reported.
3. Cancellation Policy & Client Protection
• Cancellation by the client: Before confirmation, cancellation with no charge at all. After confirmation: up to 48 h before the appointment, the service is refunded; between 48 h and 24 h before, half of the service is refunded and the other half goes to the afro hair braider; less than 24 h before or in case of no-show, the service remains due to the afro hair braider. The protection fee is not refunded after confirmation.
• If the afro hair braider cancels a confirmed appointment or does not show up, the client is refunded in full (service price and protection fee) and her request is offered to other afro hair braiders.
• Disputes: A client can report a problem within 48 hours after the service; the payout to the afro hair braider is then suspended. In case of an abusive payment dispute or a proven breach, dispute handling costs (€20 of bank fees, plus 10% of the service, minimum €5) may be charged to the party at fault.
4. Afro Hair Braider Quality Charter & Support
• Professional charter: Partner afro hair braiders undertake to respect the booked times, the hygiene standards of the equipment, transparency about the hair extensions supplied and respect for the scalp.
